{"id":304,"date":"2009-04-14T22:12:03","date_gmt":"2009-04-14T21:12:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tsls.co.uk\/?p=304"},"modified":"2026-03-11T10:40:23","modified_gmt":"2026-03-11T10:40:23","slug":"blackberry-bis-and-owa-through-isa-server","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tsls.co.uk\/index.php\/2009\/04\/14\/blackberry-bis-and-owa-through-isa-server\/","title":{"rendered":"Blackberry BIS and OWA through ISA Server"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Some of our users which own a Blackberry and are using the Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) have recently been experencing issues whereby the email stopped working after moving Exchange 2007 OWA though an ISA 2006 R2 Firewall.<\/p>\n<p>When the ISA Server was connecting to the IIS Server it uses Basic Authentication, this all worked fine when using OWA directly over the internet, however BIS still failed.<\/p>\n<p>Looking more closely at the traffic from the BIS Service it was trying to connect to the the following folder and file EWSexchange.asmx.
