When editing upgraded E-mail Address Policies you recieve the following error<\/p>\n
E-mail address policies created with legacy versions of Exchange must be upgraded using the ‘Set-EmailAddressPolicy’ task, with the Exchange 2007 Recipient Filter specified.”:<\/p>\n
Old Exchange Email Address Policies must be upgraded to Exchange 2007<\/p>\n
To Complete this you will need to use a couple PowerShell comands<\/p>\n
— this will find each email address policies required to be upgraded
\nGet-EmailAddressPolicy | where { $_.RecipientFilterType -eq “Legacy” }<\/p>\n
–For each found policy run the following
\nSet-EmailAddressPolicy “Address Policy Name” -IncludedRecipients AllRecipients<\/p>\n
Confirm that you want to upgrade this policy
\nNow run the following for the AddressList<\/p>\n
Set-AddressList “All Users” -IncludedRecipients MailboxUsers
\nSet-AddressList “All Groups” -IncludedRecipients MailGroups
\nSet-AddressList “All Contacts” -IncludedRecipients MailContacts
\nSet-AddressList “Public Folders” -RecipientFilter { RecipientType -eq ‘PublicFolder’ }
\nSet-GlobalAddressList “Default Global Address List” -RecipientFilter {(Alias -ne $null -and (ObjectClass -eq ‘user’ -or ObjectClass -eq ‘contact’ -or ObjectClass -eq ‘msExchSystemMailbox’ -or ObjectClass -eq ‘msExchDynamicDistributionList’ -or ObjectClass -eq ‘group’ -or ObjectClass -eq ‘publicFolder’))}<\/p>\n
Confirm that they have been upgraded to version 8<\/p>\n
Get-AddressList | Format-List Name,*RecipientFilter*,ExchangeVersion
