With the Launch of Microsoft XBOX XNE, which gave the XBOX avatars last month, Sony Playstation 3\u00a0have now released Home.<\/span><\/p>\n

Playstation Home is a 3D world where Playstation users can socially meet new people in a 3D world. In this world you will be able to play mini game, chat, watch videos and attend events.<\/span><\/p>\n

When you first open Home you are asked to create an avatar another mini you (or your alter ego), you have the ability to select from different hair styles to different shoes, once you have created your avatar, you are then presented with your home (an apartment which looks out to a marina), a blank canvas where you can add your mark to, by purchasing furniture such as chairs, tv\u2019s and pictures (images on your console). Beyond your home are places, the following are a list of places you can visit:<\/span><\/p>\n

1.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Central Plaza \u2013 central location where you can meet other Playstation users\u00a0 <\/span>and have a game of chess <\/span><\/p>\n

2.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Bowling Ally \u2013 where you can go bowling<\/span><\/p>\n

3.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Shopping center \u2013 where you can buy branded clothes (nike) and items for you home<\/span><\/p>\n

4.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Theatre \u2013 where you can watch movies<\/span><\/p>\n

Other Game Spaces and Homes will be available over time<\/span><\/p>\n

The installation of Home will reserves 3.7GB of your Playstation HD (it might be time for a HD upgrade)<\/span><\/p>\n
