{"id":1037,"date":"2011-05-13T17:34:52","date_gmt":"2011-05-13T16:34:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tsls.co.uk\/?p=1037"},"modified":"2011-05-13T17:34:52","modified_gmt":"2011-05-13T16:34:52","slug":"microsoft-exchange-online-2010-move-remote-mailbox-issue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tsls.co.uk\/index.php\/2011\/05\/13\/microsoft-exchange-online-2010-move-remote-mailbox-issue\/","title":{"rendered":"Microsoft Exchange Online 2010 Move Remote Mailbox Issue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISSUE<br \/>\n=====<\/p>\n<p>You have configured Microsoft Exchange Online 2010 coexistence using Office 365.<\/p>\n<p>You attempt to move a migrated Mailbox from Exchange Online back to your On-Premise Server however the Option \u2018New Remote Move Request..\u2019 is missing<\/p>\n<p>Resolution 1<br \/>\n============<br \/>\nThe reason for this is that the InTransit flag needs removing from the Mailbox move request.<\/p>\n<p>After the mailbox move request reaches a status of Completed or Completed with warning, you<\/p>\n<p>must clear the move request to remove the InTransit flag from the mailbox. You won&#8217;t be able to<\/p>\n<p>move the mailbox again until you clear the previous move request<\/p>\n<p>Once cleared you then get the remote move request.<\/p>\n<p>Resolution 2<br \/>\n============<br \/>\nIn some instances after removing the completedfailed requests the Intransit flag still remains against the mailbox, this is normally caused by Domain controllers not replicating, either force replication in sites and services, if this still fails the complete the following:<\/p>\n<p>Please make sure you have backups for AD before completing the following:<br \/>\nStart Run -&gt; mmc<br \/>\nAddRemove SnapIn -&gt; ADSI Edit<br \/>\nClick OK -&gt; right click ADSI Edit -&gt; Select Connect -&gt; Click OK<br \/>\nFind user -&gt; Right-Click -&gt; Properties<br \/>\nFind msExchMailboxMoveRequestRemoteHostName<br \/>\nClick Edit<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tsls.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/ADSIO365MoveChange.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1274 alignnone colorbox-1037\" title=\"ADSIO365MoveChange\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tsls.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/ADSIO365MoveChange-300x249.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"249\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tsls.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/ADSIO365MoveChange-300x249.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tsls.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/ADSIO365MoveChange.jpg 605w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Click Clear -&gt; then OK<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tsls.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/ADSIO365MoveChange1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1275 alignnone colorbox-1037\" title=\"ADSIO365MoveChange1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tsls.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/ADSIO365MoveChange1-300x107.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"107\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tsls.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/ADSIO365MoveChange1-300x107.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tsls.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/ADSIO365MoveChange1.jpg 424w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Then Navigate back to EMC and then refresh the Mailbox List.<\/p>\n<p>ADSIEdit, must be used with due care as changingupdating the wrong values is likely to cause accountdomain issues<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISSUE ===== You have configured Microsoft Exchange Online 2010 coexistence using Office 365.
