It has been officially announced that the up and coming Service Pack 2 for MOSS and WSS v3.0 is expected to be released between Februrary 2009 and April 2009

If you receive this error for Office 2007 applications please add the below. By default IIS 6 and above will not allow any MIME types to be downloaded. You have to explicitly state what can be downloaded from your web server

Please follow the following steps to add the MIME types.

1. Open IIS (Computer Manager->Services and Applications->Internet Information Service)
2. Right click on Web Sites.
3. Select Properties
4. Click HTTP Headers tab
5. Click File Types button in the MIME Map section
6. Click New Type
7. Enter the MIME type data from the below table
